Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform a single preventive‑maintenance (PM) visit at each of its county office locations. The work includes inspection, filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, minor repairs, water‑treatment testing (where applicable), and full documentation (photos, signed inspection forms, repair quotes). All work must be completed between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026, with any identified repairs finished by the September 30 2026 deadline. Vendors must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and master gas‑fitter licenses, and all technicians must have current EPA Section 608 certification. The solicitation is a Quick‑Quote (RFQ) with unit‑price pricing per PM visit.
• One full PM visit per DHR location (equipment includes boilers, chillers, heat pumps, split‑systems, packaged units, exhaust fans, etc.).
• Mandatory documentation: before/after photos, signed PM inspection forms, water‑treatment reports, and written repair quotes for any minor repairs.
• Contractor must supply all labor, travel, mileage, tools, filters (MERV 10/HEPA), and supplies in the unit price.
• All work performed M‑F 8:30 am‑4:00 pm; must be completed by 09/30/2026.
• Requires Alabama state HVAC, refrigeration, and master gas‑fitter licenses plus EPA §608 certification for all technicians.
