Community Development Fee Rate Study and Recommendation

The City of Aspen is seeking a consultant to conduct a fee rate study and provide recommendations for updating development review fees for the Community Development department. The consultant will assess the current fee structure, identify areas for improvement, and provide a recommended fee schedule that achieves full cost recovery. The scope of work includes analyzing the current fee structure, identifying best practices, and developing a new fee schedule that is simple, accurate, and fair. The consultant will also provide tools for the City to assess and modify unit rates to reflect the impacts of cost of service over time.
