Western Region WWTF Elect. Bldg. Progressive Design Build

The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department is seeking a design-build entity to provide professional consulting services for the Western Region Wastewater Treatment Facility Phase 2 Electrical Building & Resiliency Improvements. The project includes the construction of a new main electrical building, demolition of the existing operation/electrical building, and other improvements. The selected design-build entity will provide design-build services, including permitting, design, construction, commissioning, training, and handover of the project elements. The project budget is estimated to be $20,000,000, and the term of the contract is for five years. • The design-build entity must demonstrate experience in designing and building similar projects, with a minimum contract value of $7,000,000. • The design-build entity must provide a letter of interest, GSA Form SF 330, and other required documents. • A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be held on June 10, 2026. • The proposals should be sent to Krystin Berntsen, P.E., PMP, Deputy Director, Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department. • The project is fully funded through the Resilient Florida Grant Program administrated by Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).
