RFP for professional editing services for highly technical report

Washington State University is seeking a contractor to provide professional editing services for a highly technical annual report. The report will consist of approximately 85 individual sections, totaling around 500,000 words. The contractor will be responsible for copy editing, limited technical editing, and ensuring consistency in formatting. The period of performance will begin on December 15, 2025, and conclude on June 12, 2026. The contractor will work remotely and will be required to upload edited documents to a shared Dropbox. • The contractor must have experience with editing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. • The contractor must provide a proposed approach for the scope of work, including a schedule and statement of availability. • The contractor must itemize fees and expenses for the performance of all necessary services. • The contractor must provide information on the qualifications and experience of personnel to be assigned to the project. • The contractor must provide any additional information relevant to the RFP.
