Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services is seeking information from organizations capable of providing Environmental Housekeeping Services for Integrated Correctional Health Services. The services include terminal cleaning and disinfection of medical rooms, isolation housing, and other healthcare environments, as well as routine cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of all medical areas within the facilities. The organization must have experience furnishing all labor, uniforms, identification badges, supervision, management, and any additional goods or services necessary to perform the required work.
• The services are essential to ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of medical areas, maintain low viral loads, and limit the spread of infectious diseases within the correctional system.
• The organization must be able to pass County security clearance, including Livescan and LASD background check, prior to being given access to the facility.
• All facilities must be cleaned and maintained in compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• The County is seeking information on the costs to provide the services listed above, based on the agency's current rates.
