Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Services

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking information from potential contractors for the provision of Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Services at the Federal Correctional Complex in Butner, North Carolina. The services include computer axial tomography, echocardiogram, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography/computed tomography scans, radiography/tomography, and ultrasound. The contractor will be responsible for providing institution-based diagnostic imaging services, managing medical record information, and maintaining open avenues of communication with the Government. The key requirements for this contract include: • Providing diagnostic imaging services that conform to community standards and all local, state, and Federal laws and regulations applicable to the delivery of healthcare to members of the general public. • Managing medical record information in a manner that promotes continuity of care while observing restrictions on the release of information. • Maintaining open avenues of communication between the contract providers and the Government regarding the contract services. • Ensuring that all contract personnel providing services within the confines of the institution have a complete background investigation conducted in accordance with BOP Program Statement 3732.01. • Providing a Point of Contact who shall be responsible for facilitating the contractor’s delivery of health services under this contract.
