Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to FARO Technologies, Inc. for the calibration of various FARO equipment, including FARO Complete Care Renewals. The contract will include one base year of performance in 2026, estimated to begin in June 2026, and end in June 2027. The services will include all labor, materials, OEM parts, calibration standards, traceability documentation, and certifications necessary to meet the Government's technical requirements. The delivery location is NNSY, Portsmouth, Va 23709.
• The equipment to be calibrated includes FARO Laser Trackers, FARO Arms, and FARO Laser Line Probes.
• The contract will be awarded under NAICS Code 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
• The Small Business Office concurs with the sole source acquisition.
