Intent to Sole Source - Renewal the Medilab Fedramp Certified SaaS licenses

The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) intends to negotiate with MediaLab, Inc. for the renewal of Medilab Fedramp Certified SaaS licenses. The Clinical Center has used MediaLab as a compliance tool for over 7 years, managing thousands of documents that meet federal document control and accreditation requirements. The system is fully implemented in five critical departments of the Clinical Center. • The system is Fedramp approved and uses NIH Single Sign on with PIV authentication. • The solution is used for compliance with federal regulations concerning blood product manufacturing and high complexity clinical laboratory testing. • The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
