Notice of Intent to Sole Source Auto Tester, Ripcord Release

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group intends to award a purchase order to FXC Corporation on a sole source basis for the repair and calibration of the Auto Tester, Ripcord Release. The contract will cover repair services that cannot be accomplished at Navy Maintenance Activities, and all repairs will be made using original manufactured replacement parts. The services will include inspection, repair, and/or calibration of the end item as necessary, and the units will be returned to fully operational Ready for Issue (RFI) condition. • The requirement is for repair and calibration of the Auto Tester, Ripcord Release, Part Number 711-07153 / NSN 1670-01-508-8838. • The contract will be awarded to FXC Corporation, as they are the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the Government's specific requirements and mission for this procurement. • The government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from FXC Corporation. • Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
