Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Woodford County I-64 Rest Areas. The contractor will be responsible for daily maintenance, including cleaning, painting, and grounds maintenance. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the services.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Daily cleaning of rest area buildings, including restrooms, lobbies, and storage areas
• Grounds maintenance, including litter removal, trash disposal, and landscaping
• Painting and minor repairs as needed
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Coordination with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet staff and other stakeholders
