The City of Alexandria is seeking a qualified janitorial contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning, sanitizing, and waste‑removal services for its three‑story Utility Customer Service Building (approximately 48,000 sq ft total). Work will be performed after 6:30 PM on weekdays, with no service on listed legal holidays, and will include daily, weekly, quarterly, and as‑required tasks such as floor care, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and periodic carpet shampooing and floor re‑waxing. The contract is for a base period of 12 months with two optional one‑year extensions, and the city supplies paper products while the contractor supplies approved disinfectants and all labor.
