Repair and Maintenance of COMET X-Ray Generators and Cooling Systems

The US Navy is seeking a contractor to provide repair and maintenance services for COMET X-Ray Generators and Cooling Systems. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance twice a year on two x-ray units and providing up to two emergency service calls per year. The contractor must be an authorized service provider/technician certified by COMET Technologies USA, Inc. to work on this x-ray equipment. The services include all labor, travel, expenses, parts, supplies, filters, greases, tools, equipment, gauges, instrumentation, and safety equipment needed to perform the required work. • The contractor must have a thorough knowledge of COMET Technologies USA, Inc. industrial x-ray equipment and maintenance requirements. • The contractor shall provide a training certificate from COMET as proof of training/certification. • The contractor must coordinate with the radiation safety officer or the assistant radiation safety officer at Building to schedule maintenance. • The contractor shall report to the radiation safety officer or the assistant radiation safety officer at Building upon arrival to accomplish the preventative maintenance on the two COMET x-ray systems.
