Traction Power Substation (TPSS) 27 Repairs - Phase 2

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking proposals for the repair of Traction Power Substation (TPSS) 27, which was damaged in a vehicular accident. The scope of work includes structural and exterior repairs, as well as the removal and replacement of internal electrical components. The selected contractor will be responsible for adjusting, testing, and commissioning the electrical components. The project is expected to last 244 days. • The contractor must have at least 10 years of experience working in the transportation industry and 5 years of experience working on RTD signal and power systems. • The contractor must have experience coordinating electrical service repairs with Xcel Energy. • The contractor must have a journeyman electrician with experience working with power monitoring and protection relays for 13,200-volt systems. • The contractor must provide a detailed technical proposal, including a cover letter, technical proposal, and cost proposal. • The contractor must submit an organizational conflict of interest disclosure statement.
