Description
This solicitation is a Request for Pre‑Qualification (RPQ) to create a list of vendors who can supply a broad range of household and commercial appliances and equipment to Palm Beach County on a term‑contract basis. Once pre‑qualified, vendors will be invited to submit item‑by‑item price quotes for specific purchases as needs arise. The contract is “all‑or‑none” per quotation, includes shipping, and requires compliance with all applicable safety, ANSI, NFPA, and CPSC standards. Vendors must be registered in the County’s Vendor Self‑Service system, maintain all required licenses, business tax receipts, and certifications, and agree to first‑priority service during emergencies. The County may apply local‑preference discounts for vendors with a permanent business location in Palm Beach County or the Glades.
• Pre‑qualification submission deadline: September 2 2021 4:00 PM.
• No fixed project length; contract remains open for periodic purchases.
• Covers appliances such as refrigerators, washers/dryers, ovens, dishwashers, commercial kitchen equipment, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, etc.
• Vendors must provide warranties, manuals, and parts lists with each delivery.
• Compliance with EBO, non‑discrimination, and “Cone of Silence” rules required.
• Payment upon acceptance after inspection; no additional compensation beyond quoted price.
