Description
The project involves electrical upgrades at 46 Fullerton Ave, Whitman, MA, including the removal of remaining knob-and-tube and BX wiring and replacement with code-compliant NM-B/MC cabling, grounded devices, and required GFCI/AFCI protection. The scope of work includes replacement of identified ungrounded/loose or otherwise malfunctioning receptacles, new circuiting to existing panels, grounding/bonding, identification, testing, and finish restoration (cutting/patching). The project is estimated to cost $33,564.00 and is being electronically bid.
• The project requires compliance with the 2023 NEC and applicable Massachusetts codes and standards.
• The project is specification-driven (no drawings) and carries base quantities of and additional work paid under unit prices per Section 01 22 00.
