Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services, on behalf of the Iowa Veterans Home, is seeking a primary care physician to provide medical services to residents. The successful bidder will be required to provide 24/7 on-call coverage, daily sick rounds, and regular clinic rounds. The bidder must meet the definition of a primary care provider, be licensed in the State of Iowa, and be located within 60 miles of the Iowa Veterans Home. The contract term will begin on November 24, 2025, and end on November 23, 2026, with the option for up to five annual extensions. The bidder will be responsible for billing members' insurance at the current Medicare reimbursement rate and providing credentialing and privileging for all licensed independent practitioners and allied health care professionals.
