Description
The City of Kingsland, GA is seeking a qualified consulting firm to perform Construction Quality Assurance, Acceptance Testing, and Inspection services for a GDOT Local Assistance Program (LAP) transportation improvement project (GDOT P.I. No. 0015396) covering three locations in Camden County. The consultant must provide all labor, equipment, testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance with GDOT specifications, state and federal regulations, and must be pre‑qualified by GDOT with specific certifications (WECS, RTT, ACI Concrete). The scope includes earthwork, aggregate base, concrete, erosion & sediment control, asphalt testing, and preparation of daily/final QA/QC reports. Proposals are due 9/10/2026, and evaluation will consider GDOT QA/QC experience, personnel qualifications, LAP project experience, approach, and cost.
• Provide QA/QC testing & inspection for pedestrian/bicycle improvements (~1.3 mi).
• Required certifications: Worksite Erosion Control Supervisor, Roadway Testing Technician, ACI Concrete Field Tester.
• Must be GDOT pre‑qualified in Area Classes 604a, 604b, 8.01/9.03.
• Deliver daily inspection reports, non‑conformance reports, material certifications, and final QA/QC report.
• Compensation negotiable (lump‑sum, hourly, or not‑to‑exceed).
