Description
The South Carolina Technical College System (SCTCS) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive, year‑round landscaping maintenance for the ReadySC Training Center campus in Florence, SC. The contract covers mowing, trimming, edging, weed‑pest‑disease control, soil testing, fertilization, mulching, pruning, debris removal, seasonal planting, and coordination of irrigation and storm‑water pond features. The award will be a five‑year, fixed‑price, best‑value contract with four optional one‑year renewals. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, materials, and possess required pesticide certifications and insurance.
• Core services: weekly mowing (Apr‑Oct), bi‑weekly mowing (Nov‑Mar), ongoing pest‑weed control, annual soil test, bi‑annual fertilization and mulching, pruning, debris removal, and seasonal plantings.
• Site specifics: ~14.43 acres of mixed turf, trees, shrubs, and ornamental grasses; includes storm‑water ponds, irrigation system, and various site furnishings.
• Mandatory qualifications: SC business license, Category 3 & 7A pesticide applicator certifications, OSHA/EPA compliance, background checks for all staff, and provision of daily logs and quarterly reports.
