Description
The California Department of Highway Patrol (CHP) seeks a qualified vendor to provide weekly rental, delivery, pickup, cleaning, sizing, and replacement of protective clothing and related operational supplies for the CHP Rainbow Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (CVEF) Northbound in Temecula, CA. The contractor will supply uniforms (jackets, shirts, trousers, coveralls) and ancillary items (slip‑resistant mats, rags, towels), manage inventory, and ensure all garments are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use throughout a three‑year contract period. The award will be made to the lowest responsive‑responsible bidder, with optional small‑business, non‑small‑business subcontractor, and DVBE incentives.
• Provide weekly rental and cleaning services for specified protective clothing items (jackets, short‑ and long‑sleeve shirts, trousers, coveralls).
• Deliver and pick up items at the CVEF Northbound site, maintain inventory logs, and handle resizing or replacement as employee needs change.
• Meet insurance, licensing, driver‑license/fingerprint screening, and security requirements; submit all required certifications and preference documentation with the bid.
