Request for Qualifications for Progressive Design-Build Services for a Consolidated Rental Car Facility at Sacramento International Airport

The County of Sacramento is seeking a design-build entity to provide progressive design-build services for the construction of a Consolidated Rental Car Facility at the Sacramento International Airport. The scope of work includes planning, design, coordination, preparation of technical documents, and construction to deliver a complete, integrated, operational facility that consolidates all Rental Car Company functions into a single, efficient complex. The facility will include a customer service building, ready/return area, quick turnaround building, staging/storage area, and passenger access and wayfinding. The project is estimated to cost between $390,000,000 and $500,000,000 and is expected to be completed within 30 months. Key objectives of the project include delivering a high-quality customer experience, prioritizing customer safety and security, minimizing walking distances, and providing intuitive wayfinding. The design-build entity will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including design, construction, and commissioning.
