AN/AQS-20 Automatic Target Recognition (ATR)

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation for the AN/AQS-20 Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) program. The contract will include services, testing, technical assistance, integration, engineering service, and software support. The program aims to develop a wide-area reconnaissance system capable of detecting and classifying surface and near-surface moored mines. The contractor will be responsible for developing and integrating algorithms, conducting system integration and testing, and providing technical assistance and documentation. * The contract has an estimated total value of $5,275,000.00. * The period of performance is estimated to begin in July of Fiscal Year 2026 and end in Fiscal Year 2030. * The contractor will be required to provide continuous development and training of the MineHunter (MH) algorithm. * The contractor will also be responsible for system integration, systems engineering, software development, tool development, and system productization.
