FDA Presolicitation Notice for: MRC Operations and Maintenance Support Services, Laurel, MD.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking a contractor to provide 24-hour, 7 days a week operational and maintenance support services for all buildings and facilities under the FDA at the Muirkirk Road Complex (MRC). The tasks to be performed include routine preventative maintenance of all equipment and buildings, repair and service of various unplanned and/or emergent non-standard work orders, and seasonal snow and ice removal services. The contractor shall provide a workforce of fully trained engineers, technicians, tradesmen, support personnel, and management staff to ensure round the clock satisfactory operational performance. • The contractor must possess the proper security clearances and educational and technical qualifications to perform their assigned duties upon start of the contract performance. • The specific tasks associated with this requirement will be provided in the Statement of Work. • All work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work. • The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period. • The procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. • The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 561210, Facilities Support Services. • The Small Business Size Standard associated is $47.0M.
