Budget estimate

$5,400,000 – $11,700,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate without more information about the specific services and materials involved. However, based on the fact that the contractor will be responsible for transporting and processing recyclable materials, it is likely that the budget will be based on a per-ton fee. The City has estimated that the program will generate around 12,000-13,000 tons of recyclable materials per year. Assuming a per-ton fee of $50-100, the total budget for the three-year contract could be in the range of $1.8-3.9 million per year, or $5.4-11.7 million over the three-year term. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget could be higher or lower depending on the specifics of the contract.
