John Day Security Systems Upgrade

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking information from industry members regarding their capabilities and qualifications for a potential contract to upgrade the security systems at the John Day Powerhouse. The project includes replacing the existing Electronic Security System (ESS), upgrading the fiber optic system, and installing new security cameras and lighting. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, and the project is expected to last 365 days. • Replacing multiple light fixtures throughout John Day Dam • Replacing the existing Electronic Security System (ESS) • Power, lighting, and installation of server racks in server room • Replacing existing ESS wiring as shown on drawings • Providing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) to the server room • Providing a redundant monitoring system within the Powerhouse control room • Providing additional security cameras and light fixtures where described on the drawings • Installing additional card readers and door alarms per the drawings • Any incidental work related to the above
