NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE FJ NUGENT & ASSOCIATES, INC.

The Collier County Procurement Services Division intends to designate FJ Nugent & Associates, Inc. as a single source for the provision of Vaughan centrifugal, chopper, and conditioning pumps and services. The single source designation is due to the fact that these pumps are available only from a single source, and the use of such source is both economically and operationally in the County's best interest. The contract period is from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2029. • The contract includes the provision of suitable wastewater centrifugal/chopper/conditioning equipment to ensure pumping performance meets the requirements of engineered design parameters. • The contract aims to minimize operation, equipment, and maintenance costs resulting from alternate manufacture retrofits. • Respondents who disagree with the proposed single source designation must submit a written explanation or documentation contesting the proposed designation prior to the closing date and time specified. • All responses will be reviewed by the Procurement Services Division, and the Division requesting the product or service will be the sole determining power in establishing the approved equal status of the commodity offered by the respondent.
