Cryptographic Systems Engineering Support

The United States Air Force is seeking potential sources for non-personal services for cryptographic systems engineering services and communications security. The selected contractor will provide assistance to various program offices and agencies in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor will be responsible for tasks such as establishing and enforcing COMSEC policies, identifying and facilitating the development of crypto solutions, conducting crypto requirements analysis and definition, and providing crypto technical assessments. The contractor will also be required to maintain communications with SSC programs, AFLCMC/HNC, and NSA, and to coordinate with industry partners to resolve issues and anomalies. Some key tasks and responsibilities include: • Providing technical advice to evaluate and certify the implementation of cryptography and cryptographic-related cyber security solutions • Delivering technical assessments and trades in support of cryptographic and cyber security architecture definition and requirements analysis • Assisting with the management, certification, and implementation of End Cryptographic Units (ECUs) supporting all SSC space systems • Coordinating with NSA to evaluate and certify new crypto solutions • Providing liaison support and promoting communication between the SSC/SSIO/CMO, SSC programs, and external agencies
