W.O. 25-23: Fiber Optic Belknap Service Center to Stillwater Building

The City of Billings is seeking bids for the construction of a fiber optic project, which involves installing approximately 2 miles of conduit and fiber optic line between the Belknap Service Center and the Stillwater Building. The project requires contractors to register with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry and to pay wages at rates as required by the laws of Yellowstone County and the state of Montana. The contractor must also provide an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. • The project consists of installing fiber optic line between two buildings. • Contractors must register with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. • Wages must be paid at rates as required by the laws of Yellowstone County and the state of Montana. • An approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond are required. • The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received. • The city is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
