SafeCare Colorado Site Funding

The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) is seeking to distribute funding to organizations to operate SafeCare Colorado sites during State Fiscal Year 2027. The selected organization will provide SafeCare Colorado services to at-risk families with children from birth to age five. The program aims to promote health and safety, and prevent child abuse and neglect. Key responsibilities include collaborating with county child welfare departments and community partners, recruiting and retaining families, and collecting and maintaining program data. • The program will serve at-risk families with children from birth to age five. • The selected organization will be responsible for hiring and training staff, managing program finances, and collecting and maintaining program data. • The organization will be required to collaborate with county child welfare departments and community partners to ensure adequate referrals and coordination of services. • The program will be evaluated based on its ability to meet the needs of at-risk families and prevent child abuse and neglect.
