Description
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections (ODRC) is seeking a Protestant Religious Service Provider to perform Protestant services at Trumbull Correctional Institution. The contractor is expected to work up to thirty-two hours per week at an hourly rate of $21.65 and provide various services including conducting weekly Protestant Christian services, providing general pastoral care, and attending annual Religious Services Meeting. The contract amount for FY26 and FY27 is $36,100.00 per year, and the total contract amount for July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027, is $72,200.00.
• The contractor will provide Protestant services at Trumbull Correctional Institution.
• The contractor will work up to thirty-two hours per week at an hourly rate of $21.65.
• The contractor will provide various services including conducting weekly Protestant Christian services, providing general pastoral care, and attending annual Religious Services Meeting.
• The contractor must have current ecclesiastical endorsement by sponsoring denomination, license to preach and/or certificate of ordination from representative faith group, and resume which demonstrates previous experience in providing religious services.
• The contractor must complete a criminal background check, participate in designated contractor training and orientation, and comply with the Standards of Conduct for Contractors and Volunteer.
