Tabor Road Substation Construction of Interconnection 138kV Line

The City of Bryan, Texas, is seeking bids for the construction of a new 138kV terminal at the Tabor Road Substation. The project includes the installation of a new breaker, switches, and yard equipment, as well as the modification of existing conduits and the installation of new foundations. The contractor will be responsible for completing all work in accordance with the technical requirements of the BTU Technical Specifications Book and the project documentation. • The project requires the installation of a new H-frame dead-end structure and the relocation of existing equipment. • The contractor must coordinate with the Owner for any outages on transmission and distribution lines. • The contractor is responsible for all permitting related to the scope of work. • The project includes the installation of new cables, conduits, and grounding systems. • The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the completion of the project. • The project has a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit.
