Military Hospital Laundry Services

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific, Joint Base Lewis McChord Health Contracting Branch is seeking information from potential contractors to provide laundry services for Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) located on Joint Base Lewis McChord (JLBM), in Tacoma, WA. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supplies, training, management, administration, and services necessary to perform hospital-accredited laundry services. The contractor must have experience in providing laundry services in a healthcare environment and must meet specific requirements, including HLAC certification and compliance with various regulations and standards. • The contractor will provide laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding of linens, as well as dry cleaning and pressing of uniforms and other items. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring that all employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties. • The contractor will be required to comply with various regulations and standards, including those related to infection control, environmental protection, and worker safety. • The contractor will be expected to provide high-quality services and meet specific performance metrics, including turnaround times and quality standards. • The contractor will be required to submit various reports and documents, including a laundry procedures manual, quality control plan, and training reports.
