Kansas Department of Transportation seeks a qualified consulting firm to update the statewide shoulder‑width map, extending the 1998 baseline to cover new construction, reconstruction, and 3R (resurfacing, restoration, rehabilitation) projects using performance‑based analysis, safety evaluation, and cost assessment.
• Integrate KDOT‑provided crash, traffic, speed, and GIS data to generate shoulder‑width scenarios and cost‑per‑mile estimates.
• Produce a district‑test (pilot) map and a final statewide map, accompanied by a draft and final technical report documenting methodology and results.
