Autism Waiver Psychometric Analyst Trainer

The Maryland State Department of Education is seeking a contractor to work collaboratively with them and Autism Waiver stakeholders to examine the updated draft AW LOC instrument, identify gaps in the assessment, administration process, and scoring of the instrument, and modify and operationalize questions, scales, and ratings to ensure reliability and validity across multiple age ranges and developmental levels of children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The contractor will also conduct pilot testing, develop a user manual and training materials, and train assessors to ensure standardized administration and implementation. The contractor will also develop methodology to link LOC scores and identified needs to AW services and POC hour determinations, make recommendations for improved POC development, and develop a rubric and training with MSDE staff. • The contractor must have at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with ASD across different age groups and developmental levels. • The contractor must have at least 10 years of experience in psychometric analysis, assessment design, testing, and validating standardized assessment instruments. • The contractor must have a Master's degree or Doctorate in Psychometrics and 5 years of experience in program evaluation, test development, and validating standardized assessment instruments.
