Multi-family recycling consultant

The County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, is seeking an experienced consultant to help residents and property managers at multifamily properties in Hennepin County improve waste reduction and recycling. The consultant will perform outreach to multifamily properties, develop a plan to identify and contact properties that need assistance, and provide technical assistance to properties. The scope of services includes reducing waste and increasing recycling and reuse at multifamily properties, implementing waste reduction, recycling, and organics collection systems, reducing contamination levels, and implementing cost-effective and sustainable strategies. • The consultant will work with the county's multifamily recycling program to provide resources and assistance to properties. • The consultant will develop a plan to identify and contact properties that have not received assistance through the county's multifamily recycling program. • The consultant will provide technical assistance to properties, including site visits, signage, reusable recycling tote bags, recycling guides, and financial assistance. • The consultant will help the county achieve its goal of a 90% recycling and organics diversion rate by 2030.
