The City of Atlantic Beach is seeking a qualified vendor to manage and operate a Farmers Market. The market currently operates on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jack Russell Park, but the City is open to considering alternative times, days, and locations. The vendor will be responsible for onsite management, acquiring and managing vendors, scheduling, site plan creation, technical support, cleaning, and maintenance. The City expects the operator to work independently but will maintain oversight and may assist in outreach to stakeholders. The contract will be for a three-year term with two possible two-year extensions.
Key aspects of the proposal include:
• Park suitability and impact
• Market operations and regulations
• Vendor selection and guidelines
• Community engagement and benefits
• Legal and permitting requirements
• Ongoing management and evaluation
