Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, is seeking to purchase one 7-8 passenger SUV, 2026 or newer, hybrid or gas powered, similar to a Nissan Pathfinder. The vehicle should have a 5-door configuration and meet specific requirements outlined in the attached vehicle specs. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the vehicle to the specified address and provide a warranty for the vehicle. The procurement will be conducted through the HIePRO system, and only responses submitted through this system will be considered for award.
* The vehicle should have a minimum of 17-inch wheels and a maximum of 18-inch wheels.
* The vehicle should have a tire pressure monitor system with individual tire alert.
* The vehicle should have a mileage of 35 city/ 36 highway/ 35 combined.
* The vehicle should have an electronic front wheel drive system.
* The vehicle should have a hybrid 2.5 liter engine with double overhead cam (DOHC), 16 valve, D-4S injections, and dual VVT-i.
* The vehicle should have a sealed Ni-MH battery.
* The vehicle should have an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) with sequential shift mode.
* The vehicle should have an independent MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension.
* The vehicle should have factory darkest tinted glass package.
* The vehicle should have power door locks and color keyed outside power mirrors with blind spot warning indicators.
* The vehicle should have a star safety system, including enhanced vehicle stability control and 10 air bags.
* The vehicle should have 60/40 one motion stow split and stow 3rd row seat and 8-passenger seating with second stow bench with stowable center seat.
* The vehicle should have 3-point seatbelts for all seating positions and adjustable seatbelt anchors on front and outboard second row seats.
* The vehicle should have air conditioning, factory gauge package, AM/FM radio, and front/rear floor mats.
