RFQ 2026-09 Professional Services for Wakulla Gardens Stormwater Infrastructure

The County of Wakulla is seeking a qualified professional‑engineering firm to perform Phase 1 of the Wakulla Gardens storm‑water mitigation effort. The consultant will evaluate flood risk, develop mitigation alternatives, produce hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models, create design‑ready construction documents, coordinate permitting, and supply cost estimates for Phase 2. All work is cost‑reimbursable, with a contract ceiling of $70,842, and must be completed by 31 Mar 2027. • Conduct surveys, H&H analyses, and produce at least three modeling scenarios (pre‑ and post‑mitigation). • Prepare two sealed sets of design documents, construction‑ready plans, bid documents, and cost estimates for six proposed retention basins. • Coordinate permitting with USACE, FDEP, NWFWMD, and provide all required environmental, historic‑preservation, and flood‑plain documentation. • Deliver graphics, equipment descriptions, and engineer‑of‑record statements; assist the County in responding to agency comments. • Provide updated Phase 2 planning‑level cost estimates and support future acquisition of ~16 parcels (contingent).
