14 & 36 Passenger School Buses

The Texas School for the Deaf is seeking to purchase two 14-passenger and one 36-passenger school buses. The buses must meet specific specifications, including being classified as Type C buses, having a minimum wheel base, GVWR, and horsepower, and being equipped with certain features such as air conditioning, cameras, and collision mitigation systems. The contract shall commence upon the issuance of a contract by TSD and automatically expire upon the delivery date agreed and final acceptance by TSD. • The buses must be new and unused, and of current production. • The buses must meet or exceed the minimum specific requirements for school buses for the state of Texas. • The contract includes a warranty requirement, with the manufacturer's standard warranty applying unless otherwise stated. • The respondent must provide a full-size spare wheel and tire equal to the model standard. • The buses must have a minimum 60K BTU air conditioning in the front, rear, mid, and dash area of the bus. • The buses must have at least nine Angel Trax 12 channel camera systems or TSD-approved equivalents.
