The City of Salina is soliciting sealed bids to extend its water distribution system into the Overlook Estates subdivision. The contractor will be responsible for mobilizing equipment, clearing the work corridor, providing traffic control, installing new water mains, installing various valves, and completing site restoration. The scope includes both PVC and HDPE pipe installation and connections to the existing system. • Install 2,386 ft of 12‑inch PVC water main and 587 ft of 14‑inch HDPE water main. • Provide and install 2 air‑relief valves, 1 pressure‑relief valve, and 4 gate valves. • Perform site preparation (clearing, grubbing), traffic management, and post‑construction seeding. • Deliver all work in accordance with municipal water‑utility standards and obtain required permits and insurance. • Submit sealed bids by the deadline; the city may reject any or all proposals.
