Description
The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is seeking one national organization to receive a cooperative agreement to lead the FY 2026 Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Training, Technical Assistance, and Subgrants Program. The award will fund the development and delivery of nationwide training curricula, provide technical assistance to state and local CASA programs, and distribute subgrants to eligible entities that will directly serve abused and neglected children in dependency court. The effort aims to improve the quality and availability of CASA services across the United States, ensuring that every child involved in dependency proceedings has access to a qualified court‑appointed advocate.
• Funding ceiling ≈ $12 million (Cooperative Agreement)
• One award; applicant must be the National CASA Association or an organization authorized by it
• Scope includes curriculum design, trainer certification, technical assistance, monitoring, and subgrant administration
