Description
The New Bedford Housing Authority is seeking bids for the Satellite Village Dusk to Dawn Porch Lights project, which involves providing new exterior lighting improvements for the Satellite Village development. The scope of work includes replacing existing entry/exit luminaires, adding new canopy-mounted fixtures, and introducing new wall-pack luminaires where required. The project also involves rerouting and abandoning existing tenant-panel lighting circuits, creating new dedicated “Canopy Entry/Exit Lighting” circuits at each building’s house distribution panel, and integrating lighting control through new photocells tied to existing exterior lighting circuits.
• The construction cost is estimated to be $105,500.00.
• The project is subject to minimum wage rates established for the project by the Federal Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) and the provisions of 29 CFR 5.5 as amended by the U.S. Department of Labor.
• The project is also subject to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968.
