Daugherty Road Well Repairs

The City of Long Beach is seeking a contractor to repair the Daugherty Road well. The work includes replacing the Goulds 1-3/16” packing box, 50 feet of 8” x 1-3/16” threaded & coupled top column assembly, and the Goulds 2-stage 12CHC water lubricated pump assembly. The contractor must also provide all associated services, equipment, and labor to restore the well to normal operation. The city intends to issue a purchase order to the contractor providing the lowest and best quote for this project. The contractor must furnish proof of vehicular and public liability insurance and name the City of Long Beach and Overstreet & Associates as additional insureds on all policies. The work must be completed within 45 calendar days from the Owner’s notification of the issuance of a purchase order. • The contractor must provide all labor, tools, and equipment needed to repair the well. • The contractor must replace the specified parts and perform associated services. • The contractor must furnish proof of insurance and name the City of Long Beach and Overstreet & Associates as additional insureds. • The work must be completed within 45 calendar days. • Payment will be made after approval by the Board of Aldermen.
