Description
The Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners is seeking a Kentucky-licensed attorney to provide legal representation to the Board. The selected attorney will be responsible for representing the Board at all levels of the court system and/or before administrative tribunals, providing legal advice and assistance to the Board, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and providing legal advice on miscellaneous matters. The attorney should have prior experience in providing advice on legal matters concerning healthcare provider licensing issues.
• The contract term is anticipated to be from 11/1/25 through 6/30/26.
• The attorney will be compensated at a flat hourly rate of $125 and will receive reimbursement for authorized travel expenses.
• The proposal should include a technical proposal, a cost proposal, and any proprietary information.
• The evaluation criteria will include specific legal experience, legislation-regulation experience, and cost proposal.
• The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to negotiate a fair and reasonable compensation based on the pricing submitted in the proposal.
