Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition, abatement, and removal services for the demolition of structures identified in the Right of Way or Easement Areas. The scope of work includes the complete demolition of the structures, removal of all improvements, and disposal of demolition debris in an appropriate landfill or recycling facility. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
* The project requires the demolition of a dilapidated wood frame residential structure on a crawl space.
* The structure contains asbestos-containing materials, including joint compound and resilient flooring.
* The contractor must provide a bid price that includes all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for completion of the demolition project.
* The contractor must also provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.
* The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
