Description
The Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a contractor to provide after-hours janitorial services for the Mountain View IBC Field Office. The contract term is 36 months, and the estimated budget cost is $127,116.00. The contractor will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual tasks, including cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, restrooms, and floors. The contractor must also maintain a weekly maintenance log and provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision.
• The contractor must be certified by the State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Enterprise Services (OSDS), as a Certified Small Business.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Unruh Civil Rights Act and the Fair Employment and Housing Act.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and maintain workers' compensation and employer's liability coverage for all employees.
• The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and sign in on the pre-bid conference sign-in sheet to be eligible to submit a bid.
