Description
The Employment Development Department (EDD) is seeking a contractor to provide weekly landscaping services and "as needed" repair services at the EDD facility located at 645 Salem Street, Chico, CA 95928. The contract term is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the work. The contractor must have a valid C-27 State Contractor's License and maintain insurance coverage as specified in the contract.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Inspections pertaining to repair work orders
• Consultation/planning on the best method to achieve the intended result
• Weeding, fertilizing, pruning, and cultivating as necessary to keep all plants, grass, and trees in a healthy, growing condition
• Keeping all planted areas neat, attractive, and free of trash and debris
• Removal of all weeds growing through cracks in sidewalks and the parking lot
• Repairs normally not exceeding two workdays per task
• Identify and report to the EDD Representative any safety hazard, faulty equipment, or other conditions encountered during the course of the work at the EDD office which the Contractor determines needing repair or replacement
