This addendum provides administrative clarifications for bidders on the Gateway Wetlands Park Development project in Fairfax, VA. It does not introduce new technical scope but reinforces key pre‑construction requirements that affect how contractors will manage the work and associated risks.
• Staging area location is identified on Sheet 32 of the construction documents.
• Contractors must obtain and satisfy any Right‑of‑Way (ROW) permits; NOVA Parks does not own the roadway.
• No material or equipment substitutions are permitted.
• Any contaminated soil, water, or hazardous material discovered during excavation will be treated as a change order, requiring separate pricing and approval.
• No minority or small‑business set‑aside goals are attached to this contract.
