Twin Rivers Unified School District (TRUSD) is seeking to pre‑qualify organizations, institutions, or individual teaching artists to create a pool of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) providers for TK‑12 students. The pool will be used by schools and district departments to commission programs such as artist residencies, workshops, assemblies, performances, and semester‑long instruction that align with California Arts Standards and may incorporate the National Core Arts Standards. Providers must be able to serve diverse learners, meet state background‑check requirements, and carry substantial insurance coverage. Selections will be recommended to the Board of Education for approval; later, individual schools will issue work orders based on program needs and funding (e.g., Proposition 28).
• Disciplines include dance, music, theatre, visual arts, media arts, and interdisciplinary programs.
• Services may occur before, during, or after school at district sites, provider facilities, or approved community venues.
• Applicants must submit a Statement of Qualifications and complete an online questionnaire by 3 April 2026.
• Evaluation criteria (100 points total) focus on experience, program design, standards alignment, equity/inclusion, staff qualifications, references, and operational capacity.
