Q301--FY27 Oncotype DX Genomic Cancer Assay Testing Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to negotiate a sole source award to Genomic Health, Inc. for Oncotype DX Breast, Colon, and DCIS genomic testing, including specimen kits, analysis, interpretation support, reporting, and consultation services. The contractor will provide laboratory services, preanalytic processing, analysis, reporting of analytic results, and consultation regarding selection, collection, transportation, and result interpretation. The contractor must have all necessary licenses, permits, accreditation, and certificates required by law and be accredited by the Centers for Prevention and Disease Control (CDC) under CLIA. Some key aspects of the scope of work include: • Providing all necessary supplies, such as requisition forms, specimen containers, and special instructions • Analyzing samples and reporting test results within 24 hours of specimen testing • Consulting with the laboratory on test results by telephone as needed • Providing a means of communication to permit immediate inquiry regarding the status of pending tests • Maintaining current licenses and certificates and providing copies to the VA upon reasonable written request • Treating patient lists and medical information as privileged and not disclosing them to anyone outside the VA without prior written permission.
