Description
The City of Sandersville DDA is seeking bids from qualified roofing contractors to replace the roofing on the building located at 157 E Church Street. The project includes inspecting and repairing the damaged roof truss system, removing the existing roof system, preparing the roof decking, installing necessary drainage, and installing a new 45 mil TPO roof system with a minimum 15-year warranty. The contractor will be responsible for removing and reinstalling any rooftop equipment. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any bids.
• The roof system must have a minimum 15-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
• The contractor must provide a current business license, liability insurance, and workers' comp insurance with the bid documents.
• The successful contractor will be required to sign an affidavit confirming participation in the E-Verify Service.
• A pre-demo asbestos survey and structural engineering report are attached to the bid packet.
• The city is also considering renovation of the theater located at 157 East Church Street.
